Tonny Shallom; is one of Nigeria’s best song writer and
performer who had just released his latest work after a long silence of close
to 8years in the industry. The inspirational hip hop crooner has worked closely
on various projects for top Nigerian acts like the late Kefee, Adaz, David
Mell, Fragrance and a host of others especially in the area of packaging and
promotions.
Tonny Shallom stormed the music scene in 1998 with the
contemporary gospel group call BORN WINNERS’ before moving on to start his solo
career in the year 2000. Born Tonny Oluwaseun Shallom in the city of Shagamu,
Ogun State, a Cold Room technician, who later studied music at the prestigious
Becklee College of Music, Lagos and earned his Bsc in Brand & Strategy
Management from Southern Delaware University, USA and MBA from NIMS UNIVERSITY,
Jarpaul, India is multitalented; a poet, writer, producer, inspirational
speaker and video director with specialty in music. Tonny Shallom is a hit
maker with a unique vocal style and insightful lyrics perfect for the soul.
After selling over 375,000 copies of his first solo album titled “STEP OUT”
released in 2002 with the hit track “OBA ALADE” within 14 months, he went into
digging and promotion of various talents with his record label called BlackChild
Records.
This inspirational hip hop king is now back with his latest
effort; Lovely Christmas, a 13 tracker album which featured artiste like George
Nathaniel, Olubanke, David Mell and Pasto Goody Goody. This long awaited album
was on November 25th 2014. The album contain original songs like Christmas for
my land, Lovely Christmas, Celebrate Your Love, Sing It Loud amongst others. He
has written close to 2000 hit-bound songs and has had almost 600 major shows
within Nigeria and outside the country. Other works released previously by him
are: Origin, Black ‘N’ Blessed & Nu Level. Tonny Shallom is currently
working on a lot of collabo with yet to be disclosed international acts and
also pursuing his Doctorate Degree in Strategy Management.
