Who's the Boss-episode four

Hey guys am so sorry this is coming late today network whalla....well enjoy today's episode and lets hear thought on it in the comment area...thanks
Eunice had used all the strategy she had to keep dodging Micheal, she could not face him after the embarrassment she endured, she knew he had a mindset about her and she had told herself that she did not care about his impression about her but she could not forget the icy smile he gave her. She would not have had any reason to go to his office but reports getting to her needed to be cleared. The documents from the accounting department were questionable, the more she tried to ignore those transactions, the guiltier she felt. "Sir, going through the documents you sent to my mail about the delivery of the parts to Rod ex enterprises, I realized that in relation to the invoice we gave, there was an alteration that I am confused about, the product we supplied were supposed to be from...Hey Miss Judith you don't need to go any further." The chief accountant intercepted her. "But sir,  I am not done, I am sure you would call Mr Tayo to order after this, this would not be the first time and when I take this report to the chairman without reconciling the discrepancies, he would not be so nice about it. I only need to know you are also aware of this." She said with her face set as a flint, she had to be smart in dealing with the man, she would do all that she knows how to stop the madness going on. Everyday she tries to flow but her conscience keeps saying there is a foul play and she needed to handle it. How will that be possible if this old man, who is one of the board of directors is aware or probably part of those corrupting the standards Chief Jacobs has built over the years and which his young son is struggling to maintain. "Hey young woman! I would advice you to lay low and pretend not to know what's happening. I know your type, flaunting yourself as a christian but if I decide to give you 20 percent per month, you know what that means. See, I am an elder in my church and I have been in this Christianity before you were born okay? I have served this company and I will eat the fruit of my labour. If you still want your job, you had better play by my rules if not, I will give you what you are asking for. If you ate ready to discuss, you may come back later if not please excuse me, I have work to do." "But sir I have...okay." She got up in a hurry and with the little confidence she had she spoke. "Sir I do not intend to dare you but I will do what am paid to do, and unlike some  people, people still have the fear of God. Have a good day sir." She walked out with her heels clicking in a smooth rhythm. "Judith you will regret this I promise you." "Regret what!" Micheal asked as he barged into the office. Judith was taken aback by his sudden entrance and she was about to open the door, if she had not been smart the door would have hit her. She tried to get her composure, she muttered quiet greeting and decided to slip away when he asked her to wait. "What am I missing here? Can someone fill me in? I was waiting to get a report from you but except I am imagining it, you have been dodging me, well I will expect it before 12pm unfailingly." He said in a firm voice. She knew things would not be the same, they were back to the strict boss routine. Well that will be better for her now because she feels bad knowing she has a clue of the bad eggs but can't disclose them until she has solid evidences. Though she sounded confident talking to the chief account, her heart was in her mouth but then even if she lost her job, she would be glad she would have no sleepless night due to guilt. "Yes sir." She said and quickly left the office before he could say something else. Though a bit late, she gave a soft tap on his door and he beckoned her in. "I am sorry for coming in late, I was attending to..." "Don't bother about giving details, please show me the bank statement you talked about." He watched her hands shaking and she didn't seem to be able to compose herself. He knew something was wrong and it had to do with the chief accountant but how dies that concern her. "Here it is sir, i - I should have, I mean, I am yet to record the.." Micheal leaned back and looked at her. He needed her to feel relaxed because it was obvious that she was tensed. "Judith we may have started on a wrong foot today but I want to believe we are still friends right?" "But sir...Judith can you please tell me what happened in that office and I need you to be truthful with me." He cuts in. Judith was too confused to talk, talking now would mean lots of things, she needed time but obviously time is a luxury they can't afford. "I am sorry I can't, I still need some time sir." "What!
see ya'll next week.... thanks for reading...

Who's The Boss- Episode 3

Judith walked briskly towards the table with an apologetic look.
"Babes we will have to stop fixing dates if you make me wait always. It's embarrassing you know?" Tim said trying not to raise his tone on her.
"I know I always do this but am sorry, it's just this recent development in the office, can you believe my boss is now... Oh please spare me the details. I feel like I am the one pushing this relationship, Judith you are never here, it's office this or that and it's not funny anymore." He said cutting her off.
Judith was sober for a moment. " Can we at least eat now, time is not by our side." She said.
"Here she goes talking about time again."
Judith could not stand it any more, she knew she had not been devoted to the relationship as he is but God knows she is trying her best.
She held his hand that was resting on the table and he looked up at her, those irresistible eyes.
"Baby you know I love you so much and am sorry I have not been always available but I am  trying okay? Its not easy for me with the pressure from every where." She explained.  Tim sobered up and took a close look at her.
" So when do you intend to start that shop you always told me about. Honestly girl, we can't continue like this, how do we manage when we marry and start having children?"
"Gran!!!" Her phone rang and she cursed silently in her mind. She pretended not to hear it ring.
"Common now, answer the call. Its probably from work, as usual." He said sarcastically.
"No Tim don't let me answer them  now." She said when she saw that indeed it was work related.
"So how have you been?" She asked but then the phone rang again, she was pissed and when she checked the caller's ID, it was her boss. Her heart beat increased and her hand became clammy.
"Oh ride on and answer the phone." He said feeling irritated by the Noise.
When the call persisted she excused herself and went outside. Tim's eyes followed her but
he said nothing.
"dear God, don't let me loose my man to this job, and why should he be calling me now? Work has closed for Christ sake." She soliloquized before answering the call.
" hello Judith why don't you join me in Tanterlizers let's discuss, I don't feel safe in that office ant more."
"Sir!? Which of the Tanterlizers?" She knew that was a silly question because the restaurant is not far from her office and their food is great though her mouth feels like gravel.
"Oh please sir, I don't think this is a good time, why don't we reschedule to maybe tomorrow? You know this is not work hours and so I- I have other plans." She stuttered praying that Tim does not come looking for her.
"Am sorry but I am there already."
"What?!" Her knees felt weak as she looked straight ahead and saw his car parked with him leaning against it, waving at her with a bright smile.
"Father deliver me from temptation. I am engaged and should not be thinking fondly of another man." She chided herself when she caught herself  feeling happy to see her stubborn boss. Well maybe its because all she and Tim does lately is to argue, she knew she loved him but she could also feel them growing apart.
Micheal covered the distance in no time and just as he stretched his hand to shake her,  Tim stepped out and cleared his throat and she shook.
"Hey man! You don't go about startling people, you scared her just now, I think you should apologize." Micheal demanded but Judith knew she was in trouble.
"Sir please, he didn't mean to do that, he was just stepping out now." She tried to cover up for him.
"Judith who is this that don't know how to stay out if people's business huh!"
Judith held her head trying to tame the headache that just started.
"Tim meet Jacobs Jnr, my boss, boss meet Tim my-my boyfriend, actually my fiancé, we-we are engaged you know." She said with a pained smile as she felt the shock on both sides but Micheal recovered first.
"Hmm! Am sorry man, my name is Micheal, this your fiancé is one if a kind. Trust me man, you are one lucky guy, I just hope you realize how lucky you are." He said not shifting his gaze from her.
She thought she saw disappointment in his eyes when she introduced her fiance, she didn't know if she should be glad they met so that Micheal will know they can't be nothing more than friends asides work.
"Micheal huh! Thanks for the recommendation. I am glad I  met the guy that has been putting my baby under pressure. Well! Maximize your time with her in that company because she would be quitting soon." Tim said with a fake smile.
"What!" Micheal and Judith said in unison.
"Let's go babes, it was nice meeting you Mike." He said pulling her along.
"Tim! I don't have my bag here." she felt so embarrassed in front of her boss. "Lord do you really think I can spend a life time with this bully, he was not this rude, so what has gone wrong?" She thought to herself.
"Sir am sorry, he didn't mean to talk that way."
"No problem, I guess we all want to be your boss."
"But sir..."
"See you tomorrow." He said

"Tim! we need to talk

Who's The Boss- Episode Two

Hey guys here is the second episode of our series ''Who's The Boss'' if you missed the first episode you can catch up by clicking Here.....

Now lets get down to business...

Judith sat with her mouth agape, she blinked rapidly trying to be sure
she was still standing before him, she knew he was waiting for an
answer, this would not have been a problem if only she knew what he
meant by "Friends". He seem like a responsible guy but she would not
dare think about him besides being her boss. Her brows were furrowed
in confusion as she stared blankly into his face.
"Judith is every thing alright?"
she readjusted in her seat, 'father deliver me from evil' she prayed.
Why should he call her by her first name, what happened to his
insisting that every one be addressed formally in the office because
he thinks that will make people work best but its ridiculous having
your close friends and pals call you Miss Ade as if you are an old
maid.
She determined it was really time to go. She wanted to believe her
boss was joking. "Emm...sir if there  is nothing else to be discussed,
i beg to take my leave..." she stood up with all the courage left in
her and attempted to move.
"Don't you consider it gross disrespect for you to ignore my
questions? Is this how you treat our clients? I bet not,I asked you
simple questions and you were staring at me as if I had grown horns,
do you hate me that much? No tell me, am I that despicable? Oh
of course you would not like to be my friend, i heard you are one of
those church girls...Judith went stiff with shock, she loved her job
dearly but alot is threatening her faith."Father I need your wisdom."
she prayed in her mind.
"Sir?!" she managed to say and he gave a half hearted smile.
"You are shocked I know that part of you right, well I guess it's no
more news in this office. See I have had dealings with acclaimed
Christians and I swore to be smarter next time. I am not a devil okay,
i go to church on Sundays to please my mum but i really don't care. I
appreciate your attitude so far, just ensure you keep your faith
aside, I don't need that right now."
Judith had never been this confused before. She tried to process all
that he had said but her brain was too scrambled for that task. She
saw the anger with which he spoke, she wish she had the chance to
correct his notions about Christians but she would not want to betray
herself or get involved in this mess. "Lord reveal yourself to him."
she prayed earnestly in her heart.
Micheal saw her confusion, he expected her to get angry and try to
defend herself or the gospel but this meditative look on her face got
him thinking she is one of the real ones. "Lets be friends". Was the
line he had used on a couple of loose ladies who think they can sleep
their way to the top. At least there are still decent ladies in this
town. He looked at her again and he caught himself thinking about her
in wrong territories. He shook his head as if the thought would fly
away. Well it must be his mind playing tricks on him. He ran his hand
through his afro, why does he feel on edge when she is around yet a
part of him seem to enjoy having her around though he knew it was pure
torture to her.
He crossed the desk and leaned back on the desk facing her, he noticed
she was fidgeting and he was not happy she was this nervous around
him, he placed a hand and her shoulder trying to calm her down but he
got to know that was a wrong move.
"I am sorry sir, I think I must leave now, you have kept me here
longer than usual, i think i can stand the insults but sir i would not
appreciate it if this continues, I  respect you as my boss so please I
demand that the respect be reciprocated. I do not hate you, neither do
I find you despicable but sir it would do you a lot of good if you
check your attitude." she had gone past caring about the job, she
would not stand there and watch him disrespect her like that, she is
not a kid and even if he seniors her, maybe that will be with three
years or so. It is the clap of the hands that leads to dancing, it is
one thing that leads to another. If he decides to fire her for
standing on her self dignity,   fine and good.
"Sir, I think I have had enough. I watch you boss people around as if
you own the universe. I appreciate your zeal for the work but I do not
mix work with this kind of pleasure and..."
"Enough! Do you realize that I could get you fired?" he said angrily,
no woman had dared him this much, as angry as he was, the foolish part
of his brain admired her bravery.
"Yes I do but I thank God I can say this before I send in my
resignation letter. Mr Micheal Jacobs Jnr, to experience the success
you desire, you must change your strategy, you are too stiff. I
believe a working structure is the permanent structure. Think about
it." She walked to the door with an air of confidence.
Micheal was still in shock but it took him no time to see what the
company will lose if she decides to resign and dad will not approve of
it so he swallowed his Ego to say this to her "Miss Ade, you may not
believe this but I need you, the company needs  you, he quickly added,
because there is trouble."

She turned briskly."What!"

To be continued....
